Tentative de détermination par Stephan Blank : "The male is most likely Tenthredopsis sordida although the black "mesosternum" (pectus) is invisible on the image. The female (picture below) could be a sordida but I do not dare to confirm this. Neither the hypopygium is visible (requires microscopic study) not the pair of black longitudinal stripes laterally on the ventral side of the abdomen. This might also be T. nassata.".

La larve se développe sur différentes espèces de graminées et de Carex (site du Musée national d'histoire naturelle du Luxembourg).
